About This Company
J&W Instruments, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Phil Javinsky. J&W initially specialized in field service for the process industries. Major instrument manufactures serviced include Honeywell, Foxboro, Taylor, Leeds & Northrup, Barber-Coleman, etc. This offering expanded and the need to stock components, assemblies, and entire controls for its service base was evident. With a solid service base in place, J&W added field sales people to increase the movement of its stocking inventory. As J&W evolved into a sales and service organization, some light manufacturing and in-house repair/assembly became necessary to meet the needs and deliveries required by our customer base. Presently, J&W manufactures data loggers and thermocouple assemblies, as well as fabricates panels and handles control valve assemblies and testing. J&W also maintains a large inventory of obsolete controls for spare parts as well as for reconditioned sales.
